Good Source of Beta Carotene

Luckily for us and especially for new member of Congress, there will be yet another chance to vote to repeal Obamacare. This will be the 37th time. (I think the 37th time means a gift of Alabaster.)It just makes sense that each time there is a new Congress, everyone gets to vote on every bill that ever passed. Just because someone wasn't alive during Prohibition should not mean that they can't vote for or against it. And thus another attempt to repeal the law. Stephen showed us an amendment to be voted on.

I'm sorry to report that Stephen is not in Maxim's 2013 Hot 100. Last year he was #69 in the list of Hottest Women. Stephen is upset. I don't blame him. It is probably age discrimination as Stephen suggested. Nothing left for him to do but eat ice cream. The really really really embarrassing part of this debacle is that this year's #69 is Manti Te'o's Fake Girlfriend. How can anyone recover from that kind of embarrassment and disappointment. And just after he celebrated a birthday. What a slap in the face!

Stephen's guest was Dan Brown. His new book is "Inferno." (That's it... one word in the title. One. Word. !) And by all reports it is Hot. I don't think this book would qualify for a Reading Rainbow spot, just a feeling I have. Stephen as usual always comes out best when he interviews people. Stephen brought up puzzles which Dan Brown is fond of, specifically Dan Brown. In a segment that Stephen should call Anagram Time but doesn't, he told us and Dan Brown that the author's name is an anagram for "Brand Now" and also "Brand Down." Chew on that for a while!

Are You Mocking Me?

If you are a person who likes learning how to do stuff, that probably explains why you are most likely also a fan of Stephen Colbert's The Colbert Report. On Tuesday we learned a fact - Mitt Romney's horse made it into the Olympics. Yep, Rafalca is going to the Olypmics in Dressage. That means a future that includes either her portrait on a box of cereal or a trip to the glue factory. Dressage is THE sport of the summer and Stephen taught his audience how to perform. Thank you Stephen.

Olivia Wilde was his guest tonight. Both Olivia Wilde and Stephen Colbert are on the Maxim Hot 100 List. It doesn't really matter who is number 5 and who is number 69. All that matters is that both of them are Hot.

We all learned everything we need to know to be a successful actor. There was a contest. It was amazing. Stephen was the winner. No surprise there. Of course, she does have a move coming out, so be sure to go see People Like Us. (Olivia Wilde let us know that you can say the title three different ways. PEOPLE Like Us, People LIKE Us, or People Like US.) Not only is she an actress, but she is also a Liberal. Yes she will campaign for Barack Obama again. Stephen claims it would be better to have a president who engages in horse dancing.  She also has a pin that she wears, Dogs Against Romney. That would refer to the time that Mitt Romney's dog had to ride in the kennel on top of the car. She doesn't share Stephen's opinion that doing so was a treat for the dog.

One Hot Woman To Another

Stephen is back and had tons of news to report on. The most important news was about awards. Stephen won his second Peabody Award and is hoping for his third. That wasn't the only award he won recently. In what can be called earth shattering, Stephen Colbert is #69 on the list of the Top 100 Hottest Women in the World! That's correct, it is not a typo. Stephen Colbert is the first man ever to make Maxim's Hottest Women in the World!!! That means only 68 women in the entire world are hotter than he is. Stephen hopes in the future to win best dog and best car. Time will tell.

In political news, George Will was on "This Week" recently and showed that there is a solid connection between the amount of money a person has and the IQ of that person. Donald Trump honored George Will with a comment on Twitter.

Stephen talked briefly about world news, focusing on the Egyptian Revolution. Showing his grasp of world affairs and history, he was able to tie together Arizona politics and ancient Egyptian politics. I did not see that one coming.

The guest last night was fellow hot woman Charlize Theron. I guess the part she plays in that new fairy tale movie "Snow White and the Huntsman" is not quite so cute as I had thought. She is more of a wicked queen than a benevolent queen. We got to see a short clip from the movie and it does seem like you do not want to make her angry. In the last minute of the show, Stephen and Charlize discussed another new film, "Prometheus" in detail.

It sure is nice having Stephen back I can hardly wait to hear what award he wins next week.
