Stephen reported on this news development and it gave me an idea for a new magic trick.
"Think of a number between 1, and 2 raised to the 57,885,161 power minus 1." I don't have the rest of the magic trick worked out yet, but I don't think anyone has done this particular trick yet. More about that when I do.
In news that has more people talking is the one about King Richard III. Apparently he's dead and apparently his remains have been found under a supermarket parking lot. If you do not know a lot about the kings and queens in England, Stephen was able to shed some light on that subject. If it is till unclear to you, you can find more information about the English Monarchs here.
Stephen told us about reality shows, unemployment, commuting, religion and prejudices in the next segments. That was interesting, but it would have been great if he could have tied all five together. My head just spins thinking of the possibilities.
Julie Andrews. You need only see her name and you think of "The Sound of Music" or "Mary Poppins." Many girls and women have been inspired by Julie Andrews to go into theater and the entertainment field. And while Julie Andrews is a Dame Commander, lately she has been devoting time to publishing children's books. The latest one is "The Very Fairy Princess Follows Her Heart." How nice in February to have a pink and red book with a large heart on the cover.
(Julie Andrews thought it was ironic that King Richard III was calling for his horse and yet ended up in a parking lot. How sad, how very, very sad.)
Julie and her daughter Emma have written twenty-seven books together. Good news. "The Very Fairy Princess Follows Her Heart" is already #2 on the Children's Best Seller List for Picture Books. And that is even before getting the famous The Colbert Bump. wow. Wowie.
Is Julie Andrews still up to playing the part of Mary Poppins? Yes she can, or something very similar, was her answer.
