I'll be brief today since yesterday's post was so long. (You're Welcome!)
First off, Duck Fashion Show. (I updated this and put a different link. 11/2/11)
Next up, the Interview.
David McCullough was on with his new book "The Greater Journey Americans in Paris." It does sound interesting. It's about Americans who went to, guess where - yes, you're right - Paris. It was a few years back and they went there to learn more than they could ever have hoped to learn here. Doctors, painters, architects and many more went to Paris. First they learned French, then on to greater things. We just did not have the schools here in the old US of A back then and all that stuff they learned there, well they brought it back here and greatly enriched our country.
David McCullough had to tell Stephen that, in fact, we have been friends with France for over 200 years. Furthermore, "We would not have succeeded with our Revolutionary War or our Independence had it not been for the financial help and the military help of the French, both on land and sea."
Isn't it interesting that Stephen had David McCullough on The Colbert Report the day before Bastille Day?
